Blackburn Rovers started the season brightly, but since then have faltered. Their last two fixtures resulted in a loss to West Brom at home and a draw against Middlesbrough away. They currently occupy 10th spot in the Championship table. Their hopes for the play-offs look bleak at the moment, but it is still very early.
The former Premier League winners will look to turn around their fortunes with a home win against Luton Town., Although forward Sam Gallagher has scored twice in five matches, the Rovers’ forward players have failed to impress so far this season. They need to find their scoring feet if they are to push for the up the table over the coming weeks. Hayden Carter will miss the game through suspension.

Luton Town’s new season has been a mixed bag. So far, they have two wins in five matches.
