Lyndon Dykes opened the scoring for QPR after just 16 minutes, but the visitors equalized through Jaokbsen just 10 minutes later. Preston then took the lead through Josh Earl in the first minute of the second half, but The Rangers found their way back into the game by scoring two goals in the space of three minutes through Jimmy Dunne and Ilias Chair and won the game 3-2.
