Another transfer window has been and gone whereby clubs in the EFL Championship have managed to make alterations to their squads.
Some clubs took the opportunity to further strengthen their sides for the current campaign as they look to achieve the aims they have set out for themselves; whether they be to win promotion to the Premier League or whether it is to be able to cement their place in England’s second division.
Admittedly, this particular window was a little different compared to previous others as dates were changed, whilst there was hardly any money available to spend because of the current crisis that is being felt in every corner of the world. Bettors that have money to spend on wagers in regards to EFL action should ensure they have the best apps available to further enhance their experience.
However, some clubs still did manage to make the most of the opportunity, and TransferMarkt have provided all the latest figures to show who spent what and who they managed to make the most money from this past summer.
Indeed, Middlesbrough had the highest net spend of the summer as they splashed out an estimated £2.7 million on top of anything that was earned (although many of their deals were left undisclosed), whereas AFC Bournemouth made the most profit – albeit their sale of Nathe Ake for £40.7 million certainly playing a huge role.
