Blackburn Rovers are one of the most historic clubs to have played across the Premier League and the EFL, and with that comes some names that dominated English football over the course of different eras.
The Lancashire club are currently playing in the Championship after their disastrous season in 2011/12, when they got relegated from the Premier League.
Rovers are without a doubt a massive club and have a proud history, celebrating 150 years this season, being one of the seven Premier League champions, lifting the top flight on three occasions and claiming the FA Cup on six.

5. Jordan Rhodes – 85 goals
The Scottish international retired last year, bringing to an end a career that saw Jordan Rhodes score 248 club goals.
He scored 85 of those goals at Blackburn Rovers across four seasons in Lancashire before he would exit the club to join Middlesbrough.
These goals came across 169 games, which demonstrated just how prolific he was while wearing the blue and white of Blackburn.
4. Andy McEvoy – 89 goals
The Irish striker spent 11 years at the club between 1956 and 1967, being part of the side for four years with the player next on the list.
Andy McEvoy came from Dublin and would play his international football for Ireland, making 17 appearances but never featuring in a major tournament.

He would feature in 183 matches for Blackburn, scoring 89 goals before he would leave the club to move back to Ireland.
McEvoy would join Limerick and see out his career here when he retired in 1972.
3. Peter Dobing – 104 goals
Peter Dobing spent five seasons at Blackburn Rovers, joining the club in 1955, opting to sign for them over Manchester United.

He would be crucial in helping the club gain promotion from the Second Division to the First and in reaching the FA Cup final in 1960.
Dobing would leave the club in 1961 to join Manchester City after playing a total of 205 games, scoring 104 goals.
2. Alan Shearer – 130 goals
Alan Shearer would be the key to Blackburn Rovers winning the Premier League title in 1995, joining the club from Southampton.

The Geordie would feature in 171 matches for Rovers across four seasons before opting to move to his boyhood club.
He would score an impressive 130 goals in his appearances, meaning he was almost scoring a goal a game while at Ewood Park.
1. Simon Garner – 194 goals
Simon Garner started his career at Blackburn Rovers and dedicated 14 years to scoring goals for the club.

The legendary Rovers figure enjoyed all his football with the club before the creation of the Premier League, opting to move to West Brom in 1992.
Garner would play in 484 league matches representing the blue and white of Blackburn, scoring an incredible 194 goals across all competitions for the club, making him the highest-scoring Rovers player in the history of the club.
