What a summer this has been so far for Derby County.
Three months ago, Ebou Adams praised John Eustace for keeping the Rams in the Championship on the final day of the season. A 0-0 draw against Stoke City proved to be enough after the club were seven points adrift in March.
Now, a new-look squad is preparing to face the Potters once again, but this time away from home. However, there is a confidence surrounding the East Midlands outfit heading into 2025/26.
Derby completed two more signings on Tuesday evening, as Dion Sanderson reunited with Eustace on loan from Birmingham City, while Bobby Clark favoured a move to Pride Park over Newcastle United. Supporters are excited.

Derby County fans react to Bobby Clark’s arrival
With the clash against Stoke just days away now, it’s vital that the Rams continue to strengthen and Clark does exactly that by adding further depth to the midfield.

The 20-year-old has joined on a season-long loan from RB Salzburg, and after being linked to Derby on multiple occasions previously, fans are keen to see him in action.
Another supporter put: “Already can tell it’s going to break our hearts when he goes back at the end of the season.”
While a third wrote: “What has happened to Derby, wasn’t long ago I was getting excited over signing Fornah from Forest’s reserves. We’ve come a long way.”
“Exciting, signalling some real intent with the summer signings,” a fifth Derby fan said.
As one more wrote: “Top drawer. Got to fancy a top 6 push with the business we’re doing. Best transfer window since Lampard.”

Bobby Clark can thrive at Pride Park under John Eustace
There was plenty of criticism over the quality of some of the loanees that have been signed in the last few years at Derby, but Clark is a different kettle of fish.
He joined RB Salzburg for £10m from Liverpool last summer, according to the BBC, and he made six Champions League appearances.

While it was perhaps a step too high too quickly for him, Clark has an incredible amount of talent and he has the chance to develop into a top player under Eustace in the next nine months.
Derby will fancy themselves for a mid-table finish, but all supporters will be dreaming of sneaking into the play-off picture after what has been an extraordinary transfer window.
