The final 2024/25 Championship table has been predicted by Opta’s supercomputer and it’s good news for Leeds United.
Championship football is set to return to our screens later this week following the March international break.
Sheffield United face Coventry City in the marquee meeting of the weekend, clashing on Friday evening in a game of huge importance to both teams.
The Blades are currently locked in a tight battle with Leeds United for the league title, both sitting on 80 points right now.
Coventry, meanwhile, are aiming to book their place in the play-offs come May.

Leeds United win Championship title and Burnley stuck in play-offs
Leeds drew with QPR in their last match prior to the break, seeing Burnley climb to within just two points of first place.
However, despite beating Swansea City over the weekend, it does not look as though the Clarets will be finishing inside the top two.
Burnley have been tipped to become ‘unstuck’ in the fight to win automatic promotion from the Championship.
And Opta’s supercomputer now predicts they are most likely to finish third, giving them a 50.7 percent chance of doing so.
Leeds, meanwhile, are most likely to win the title with a 61.7 percent chance of coming first and 27.3 percent chance of ending the campaign in second place.
Sheffield United are favourites to finish as runners-up, with Sunderland, Coventry and West Brom rounding out the top-six.

Derby County relegated from Championship
At the other end of the table, the battle for survival is once again very close and could go down to the final day.

Despite three wins in a row under new manager John Eustace, Derby County are being backed for relegation by one EFL expert.
Now, Opta have also predicted the Rams will be relegated from the second tier this season.
Derby are most likely to finish 22nd (19.5 percent chance), with Luton Town and Plymouth Argyle then rounding out the rest of the bottom three.
