Leicester City fans haven’t had much to smile about of late, but news of a new contract for one of their biggest talents is most welcome.
A points deduction is looming for Leicester following their relegation from the Premier League to the Championship and the future of Ruud van Nistelrooy as Foxes manager is still in doubt.
Danny Rohl seems the frontrunner for the Leicester job after Russell Martin ended up choosing to take the Rangers job.
Whoever is in charge at the King Power Stadium will have one slice of good news to look forward to after the 2016 Premier League winners confirmed a young star had signed a new deal.

Jeremy Monga signs new contract with Leicester City
One of the few highlights of the season was the emergence of youngster Jeremy Monga.
The 15-year-old became the second youngest debutant in Premier League history after coming on as a substitute against Newcastle United.
Monga was given a handful of opportunities by the club towards the end of the season, alerting a number of high-profile clubs that tried to sign him.
However, Leicester have put an end to those rumours by confirming that Monga has signed a pre-contract deal that will see him become a fully-fledged professional on his 17th birthday in 2026.
It’s a huge coup for the Foxes and the news has gone down well in the East Midlands.
