Blackpool manager Steve Bruce has had a solid time in charge of the League One side, after taking the job in September to end a nearly two-year-long break from management.
After two difficult jobs at Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion where he came under heavy criticism from fans, Bruce has had some success with The Tangerine Army.
He won the EFL League One Manager of the Month in the same month he took over the club, and has guided them to 10th in the table.

With eight games to go, Bruce has got the team within eight points of the playoffs.
In a competitive division, it could be a tough ask to make the cut and therefore the Manchester United legend has turned his attention to the future.
Steve Bruce says owner is key to his future at Blackpool
In an interview with The Athletic, Steve Bruce has admitted Blackpool owner Simon Sadler will be crucial as to whether he’s at the club next season: “We’re close here to having a really decent team.”
“It might not happen this season but as long as the owner wants me to we’ll have another crack next season and see if we can get better,” he continued before adding: “I’ve got it in my mind to look at the summer and having a team that can compete at the top of the division next season.”

Bruce was given a two-year deal when he was hired by Blackpool in September and is currently the oldest manager in the entire 92.
Should he be kept on by The Seasiders, he’ll be targeting the fifth promotion of his career.
Steve Bruce was beaten to Jamaica job by Steve McClaren
Just a couple of months before his appointment as Blackpool manager, Bruce interviewed for the Jamaica national team manager job.
Speaking again to The Athletic, the former centre-back admitted it was the job he was “closest” to landing while he was without a club and the opportunity excited him: “They’ve got very good players and they’ve got a good strong chance of reaching the World Cup. I thought it would be a great challenge.”
“I thought long and hard about it and there was a stage where I thought I was close to getting it,” he added, before reflecting: “They obviously went down a different direction in the end and gave it to Steve. Fair play to him.”
Will he be in the Tangerines job next season? That remains to be seen. But one thing’s for certain – Bruce is up for the challenge.
