Sheffield United are just days away from their biggest game of the season, but face plenty of problems to deal with off the pitch.
The Blades face Sunderland in the Championship play-off final on 24 May, with Chris Wilder’s side the favourites to secure the million dollar prize of promotion to the Premier League.
On the pitch, Sheffield United are in good form after the Yorkshire club smashed Bristol City across two legs in the semi-finals and aren’t short of confidence ahead of this weekend.
However, after receiving another fine due to their discipline against Plymouth Argyle earlier this season, their total throughout the season is not one that makes for easy reading.

Sheffield United have been fined almost £500k this season
A statement from the Football Association confirmed that the Blades had received a £180,000 fine for an “incredibly poor period of behaviour.”
So far this season, Sheffield United have received fines for ill-discipline in games against Wrexham, Watford, Portsmouth, Coventry City and Bristol City.
Plymouth won the game 2-1 on the day and they been fined £7,500 for their part in the post-match tempers that boiled over.
In total, Sheffield United have been fined £445,500 across the season.
FA criticise Chris Wilder after latest Sheffield United fine
The FA weren’t lenient in their assessment of the Blades and admitted it was “concerning” that the behaviour of players hadn’t improved, but it was Wilder who was singled out.
Wilder confronted Plymouth duo Mustapha Bundu and Darko Gyabi in front of the away fans after the loss at Home Park.
In their assessment, the FA called out the Sheffield United manager for being “overly aggressive”.
Their report added: The commission also considered a significant aggravating feature was Mr Wilder’s conduct, which the commission considers was provocative and a contributory cause of the mass confrontation
