Blackburn Rovers won the away game against Nottingham Forest in the Championship on Wednesday. The game finished 1-2 (0-0) after Blackburn pulled away in the second half.
The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Philip Zinckernagel made his mark as he scored to give Nottingham Forest the lead.
Straight after the break, Daniel Ayala found the net and equalised for Blackburn Rovers.
The team took the lead right after this as Darragh Lenihan scored. Blackburn Rovers had then turned the match around. This brought the final score to 1-2.
Nottingham Forest’s Jordan Gabriel was sent off in the 90th minute.
Both teams will be back in action on Saturday when Nottingham host Stoke City at bet365 Stadium and Blackburn welcome West Brom.
