Sweden won 3-2 (1-0) against Poland in the Euro 2021 group E.
The hosting team Sweden started the match at pace and took the lead straight away already from the kickoff. After only 2 minutes Emil Forsberg scored a goal.
There was a long delay before the next goal came. With more than 30 minutes on the clock, Sweden’s Emil Forsberg scored a goal, with an assist by Dejan Kulusevski, and increased their lead.
With barely 30 minutes on the clock, Poland’s Robert Lewandowski scored a goal, from a pass from Piotr Zielinski, and plugged one back for Poland.
With only six minutes left to play, Poland’s Robert Lewandowski equalised as he scored a goal, with an assist by Przemyslaw Frankowski.
The deciding goal came in the 90th minute, when Viktor Claesson scored a 3-2 for Sweden, with an assist by Dejan Kulusevski. The 3-2 goal was the last one of the game.
The result means that Sweden have secured the number one spot.
The qualifiers are over and Sweden finished in first place and Poland in fourth. Sweden secured their spot in the playoffs.
