The game at Moor Lane on Saturday was to be a goalless affair. Neither the home side Salford nor the visiting Sutton managed to get their finishing touches in order and the game in the England League Two ended in a goalless 0-0 draw.
Salford have two points while Sutton have one after two rounds of fixtures.
Salford will host Crawley on Tuesday. Sutton will face Scunthorpe at Glanford Park on Saturday.
