Belgium defeated Denmark 2-1 (0-1) in the Euro 2021 group B.
The hosts Denmark started best and were already 1-0 up already from the kickoff. After only 2 minutes Yussuf Poulsen scored a goal from a pass from Pierre Höjbjerg.
In the 54th minute, Thorgan Hazard scored a goal, from a pass from Kevin De Bruyne, to equalise for Belgium.
Kevin De Bruyne also scored in the 70th minute as he scored a goal, with an assist by Eden Hazard. De Bruyne then completed the team’s come back. This brought the final score to 1-2.
With one game remaining, in the qualifiers Denmark are in last place and Belgium are at the top of the table.
Next up, Denmark face Russia, while Belgium face Finland away. Both games take place Monday.
