The Championship game between Blackburn Rovers and West Bromwich Albion finished 1-2. The away side West Brom was in control and ahead 2-0, and managed to see the game off despite a comeback attempt by Blackburn.

The visiting team West Bromwich Albion started best and were already 0-1 up early in the game. After only one minute Alex Mowatt scored.

Straight after the break, Matthew Phillips found the net and increased the team’s lead.

In the 51st minute, Ben Brereton netted, to reduce the score for Blackburn Rovers. However, Blackburn Rovers were unable to make more of an impression. The 1-2 goal was the last goal of the game.
