Stoke City took command of the Championship game from the start away to Swansea City on Tuesday. The game was all one way traffic as the 1-0 lead was easily coverted to a 3-1 win.

Stoke City took an early lead when Nick Powell found the net in the 15th minute, making it 1-0.

Straight after the break, Sam Clucas made his mark and increased the team’s lead.

With 30 minutes on the clock, Stoke City’s Leo Östigard scored and increased the lead.

Joel Piroe reduced the score for Swansea City in the 73rd minute. But Swansea City ran out of steam. The 1-3 goal was the last goal of the game.

Swansea City have had a sluggish start to the season and have only one points from their first three games. Stoke City are on seven points.

Swansea play Bristol City away on Friday. Stoke City will face Nottingham at home on Saturday.
