EFL Analysis understands that Blackburn Rovers have been ‘offered’ a pair of Scandinavian players as they look to continue their business over the transfer window but face competition from Birmingham City for one of the individuals.
Blackburn Rovers are looking to strengthen their squad to help boost their chances of earning promotion back to the Premier League after a 13-year absence from the top flight.
Valérien Ismaël came close to guiding Rovers to the Championship play-offs with a strong final six games in the campaign as he went unbeaten after a horrific start to his Blackburn tenure.

He will be optimistic that he can now use the pre-season to help build upon that strong finish, and with a number of signings through the door at the Lancashire club, he can deliver the club’s objectives.
Two players Blackburn have been ‘offered’ are Scandinavian, with the club set to face competition from a number of clubs for their signings in the transfer window.
Blackburn Rovers have been ‘offered’ the Scandinavian pair of Casper Terho and Oliver Antman
Both players are attacking options, demonstrating where the focus of the Blackburn Rovers recruitment team may be in terms of who to bring through the door.
The pair are both Finnish, with Oliver Antman representing the country on 20 occasions at senior level, while Casper Terho has only represented his nation on two occasions.

As per information from our Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal both players have been ‘offered’ to Blackburn Rovers.
It is said that Terho has been offered to a number of different clubs, while Antman has been put forward to Blackburn and Birmingham City, among others.
Who are Casper Terho and Oliver Antman?
The duo have represented Finland at the international level, with both players seeing their preferred position as being on the wing.
Terho is currently employed by Union SG and is a promising winger who spent the second half of last season out on loan at SC Paderborn.
At 21 years old there is certainly plenty of room for development, while he has already demonstrated across his career that he has an eye for a goal too.

Antman is currently under contract with Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles, scoring six goals across the last season for them as they finished seventh in the Eredivisie and the club won the KNVB Cup, the first-ever trophy for the club.
It was a fine season for the 23-year-old as he proved to be an important piece of their team, demonstrating he can bring a lot to the Rovers side, including assists as he finished with the most assists in the Eredivisie and quality as he was in the league’s Team of the Season.
