Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City had contrasting starts to the new Championship season.
Leicester City managed to overcome a stubborn Sheffield Wednesday side as they secured a late 2-1 victory at home.
Marti Cifuentes explained how he was able to change his team’s fortunes to come from behind and win the match.
While Blackburn Rovers struggled against West Brom away at the Hawthorns as they lost 1-0, with the side struggling to create chances.
Following the weekend Blackburn suffered a transfer blow in their chase of a former Birmingham City striker due to the rules around registration for the Championship.
Blackburn and Leicester may have suffered a further setback in the transfer market as they look to strengthen their side further this summer window as one of their targets has denied wanting to move to either club.

Sebastian Tounekti plays down move to Championship
The Tunisian international had previously been linked with a move to both Leicester City and Blackburn Rovers in the Championship, along with both Toulouse and Koln.
However, following a match at the weekend with Hammarby IF, Sebastian Tounekti denied the rumours linking him to a move away from the Swedish outfit.
Speaking with Expressen, he said: “It is always nice that there is interest, it shows that you are on the right track.
“Now I am standing here and taking big steps. I am enormously grateful, but also feel that this is just the beginning.

“For my part, I am very happy to be in Hammarby. I enjoy it immensely and feel that I still have a lot to develop.
“I stay out of those things until it gets really, really hot. Today I know very little. I am fully focused on the here and now, that is where my focus is.
“It feels a bit unrealistic. In the world of football, things can happen quickly, but today it feels unrealistic considering that I am so happy with where I am.
“Then there is the good news that we feel like we have an opportunity to advance in Europe and, not least, fight for the Swedish Championship gold. Winning a Swedish Championship gold here in Hammarby would have meant more than going abroad now.”
Who is Sebastian Tounekti?
Tounekti is a Tunisian international who operates on the wing and is currently playing his football in the top flight of Sweden with Hammarby.
He was born in Tromsø, Norway, and grew up playing in the Norwegian League before his recent move to Sweden this season.
At 23 years old he has already achieved a few impressive feats in his career, winning the Eliteserien in 2020 and 2021 with Bodo Glimt.
He is currently an important piece of Hammarby’s squad as they battle for the Allsvenskan, with the club currently occupying second place in the league, fighting for the title and to compete in the Europa Conference League.
