Preston North End are one of the many Championship clubs working hard to get their squad ready for the season.
It’s expected to be a difficult season for Preston, who are among the favourites to be relegated.
Paul Heckingbottom has made some solid signings though, including the return of Daniel Iversen to Deepdale.
The Lilywhites are also planning for the future and may have beaten Scottish Premiership giants Celtic to a prolific talisman.

Shay Reid set to join Preston North End after successful trial
Anyone who has scored 50 plus goals is going to catch the eye and for 17-year-old striker Shay Reid, that’s what’s happened.
Reid was in red-hot form for the reserve and youth teams at Northern Irish side Cliftonville, leading to the likes of Aberdeen, Celtic and Luton Town keeping tabs.
But, according to the Belfast Telegraph, Reid has chosen Preston following a successful trial period.
He played two matches for the club in a week-long trial, scoring and assisting in a 3-2 win over Sheffield Wednesday before bagging a brace and assist in a 4-3 victory vs Wrexham.
Will Shay Reid be a first team option at Preston?
Although his record is seriously impressive, Reid will more than likely begin his time at Preston in the youth ranks.
Making the switch from Northern Ireland to England, even at youth level, is a big step up and he will need time to adjust.
However, if he continues this impressive run of form in Lancashire and keeps his scoring tally up, there’s no reason to say why he can’t become an option for North End throughout the season.
