EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal which MLS club has won the race to sign Toyosi Olusanya.
We confirmed that Olusanya had chosen a move to America over several other offers, which included a host of teams from the Championship interested.
His former side Middlesbrough were one of a raft of teams plotting a move as well as Derby County, who are showing signs of life again under John Eustace.
The 27-year-old has scored 12 goals in all competitions but turned down the chance to remain at Scottish Premiership side St Mirren in favour of a move abroad.

Houston Dynamo to sign Derby County target Toyosi Olusanya
TBR Football’s Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, has exclusively told EFL Analysis that Olusanya will be joining Houston Dynamo.
It’s understood that the forward has agreed personal terms with the Dynamo and is set to be officially confirmed in the coming days.
Houston have not long started their domestic campaign and are currently 13th in the Western Conference having won just one of their opening eight games.
Watford fans will be familiar with Jonathon Bond, who is currently on their books, as is former Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko.
When will Toyosi Olusanya join Houston Dynamo?
Reports have suggested that the 27-year-old will actually move stateside before the current season with St Mirren is complete.
The Scottish Premiership side still have five games remaining but with Olusanya’s contract expiring in June 2025, Houston have acted quickly to beat off other competition.
By signing him earlier, they will also be required to pay a small fee to St Mirren to compensate for the deal.
