Leicester City vs Wrexham is a game that doesn’t happen too often.

For the first time in 43 years, the two teams will meet at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night, with both hoping to claim a win.

The Foxes are without a win in their last three games and scraped a last-minute draw against West Bromwich Albion.

Wrexham drew with Derby County and have seemingly finally found their feet in the Championship.

Both sides have records to maintain/break, and there is a lot on the line.

Leicester City hold impressive unbeaten record vs Wrexham

Although Leicester and Wrexham haven’t played against each other a lot in the past, the Foxes still hold a brilliant record.

According to the BBC Sport stat pack, the Red Dragons have failed to win in their last six meetings against the East Midlands outfit (drawing three and losing three). Their 16-game winless run against Crystal Palace is the only one that is worse.

As for Leicester, their unbeaten runs against Scunthorpe United (eight) and then Crewe Alexandra and Loughborough (both 10) are better than the one they have against the Welsh club.

Leicester City H2H record vs Wrexham

Both teams have been worlds apart for so long, which explains why they have only played together eight times.

Less than five years ago, the Foxes were flying in the Premier League whereas Wrexham weren’t even in the Football League.
