Millwall equalised late against Charlton Athletic to see the spoils shared with a 1-1 draw in the South London derby.
Charlton Athletic and Millwall’s derby clash was tipped to be a momentous occasion, and the South London rivals did not disappoint.
Sonny Carey opened the scoring for Nathan Jones’ side minutes before half-time to send the Addicks faithful into dreamland before Raees Bangura-Williams had a goal ruled out for offside after the interval.
In the depths of the second half, Charlton right-back Kayne Ramsay was sent off with his second yellow card after a heavy challenge on Aidomo Emakhu.
With Charlton desperately holding on for a dramatic derby victory, Millwall substitute Bangura-Williams silenced the Valley to leave Addicks boss Jones disappointed with Ramsay after full-time.

Nathan Jones blames Kayne Ramsay’s red card for Millwall comeback
After Ramsay was dismissed for a second bookable offence, momentum swung back in Millwall’s favour, which led to the late equaliser.
In his typically outspoken fashion, Jones admitted after the derby draw that the moment of “stupidity” from Ramsay cost Charlton a potential victory.
Jones told Sky Sports: “Categorically, I did not see us conceding a goal today, I felt we were going to go on and get a second.
“Apart from the set-plays, the odd counter attack, we were relatively comfortable and I don’t want to be disrespectful to anyone but we were.
“I did not see us losing that game, then a moment of madness when he’s on a yellow card, just diving in, it’s just stupidity. It’s the only way we’ve drawn that game.
“I’m really proud of the club, really proud of the team today, and I just felt if that hadn’t been a red card, I couldn’t see us conceding today.”
Charlton were set to end their 29-year Millwall hoodoo, but Bangura-Williams’ equaliser put an end to that.
Despite the late equaliser, Lions boss Alex Neil was not a happy man at full-time, and blasted his side’s first-half outing.

With the spoils shared in the South London derby, Neil told Sky Sports: “I thought first half we were poor.
“I think at half-time, it was probably the angriest I have been since I’ve been here.
“That was disappointing, we know we can do better than that, we didn’t use the ball well enough, I thought some of our decision-making was poor at times. That was the basis of the half-time team talk.
“I thought we started brighter in the second half, and obviously the sending off helps us and changes the game in our favour.
“I thought in the end we deserved a point, we had a goal disallowed which I thought was unfortunate, but I thought a point was probably a fair result.”
Millwall enjoyed the Lion’s share of possession, but could not turn that into three points and as such, the South London rivals each profited with a point.
