Sheffield Wednesday are still in the eye of a financial storm after several months of turmoil.
The Owls secured their much-needed first Championship win of the season at Portsmouth on Saturday.
Skipper Barry Bannan scored a stunning free-kick before youngster George Brown doubled their lead at Fratton Park.
Despite the improved form on the pitch, Sheffield Wednesday continue to dominate Championship headlines off the pitch thanks to owner Dejphon Chansiri.
Sheffield Wednesday are under new embargoes by the EFL, and amid the crisis, captain Bannan has a stern wish for the Owls owner.

Barry Bannan wants better communication about payday from Dejphon Chansiri
EFL Analysis exclusively revealed recently that Chansiri is at a £40m Sheffield Wednesday crossroads with their September 30 debt deadline approaching.
Sheffield Wednesday could be required to repay part of a £7.3m loan secured against Hillsborough on September 30, which also happens to be payday.
With the deadline looming, Bannan admits that he wants Chansiri to let his Sheffield Wednesday staff and players know “in advance” if the club’s financial trouble will impact their wages.
Bannan told the Open Goal podcast: “I think in terms of us on the pitch, aye (things are improving) because like I said, playing games every week has taken that side away.
“We got paid last month perfectly fine. Everybody got paid. But it’s getting to the point now at the club where you’re looking to your payday and think, I might not get paid here.
“So, you’re having to and the thing is, we don’t even get told weeks in advance. It’ll be the night before payday.
“So, then you have to start scrambling to move things around because everybody’s bills normally come first of the month.
“So I was saying this to the chairman as well about trying to find out in advance so you can give people the heads up so they can move money around and help because, there’s mortgages and you know it’s like if you miss a payment in your mortgage they’re straight on you and it affects people’s credit for the rest of their life.”

Barry Bannan must be at his best again for Sheffield Wednesday against QPR
The Owls host QPR on Saturday afternoon, with the R’s on a three-game winning streak heading into the clash.
QPR beat Wrexham 3-1 before enjoying a hard-fought 1-0 win over Stoke City at the weekend to leave them in ninth, 14 places above Wednesday.
Championship experts praised Bannan for his captain’s performance against Portsmouth, and although his goal stole the headlines, his assured outing in the engine room was most pleasing for Henrik Pedersen.
Pedersen hailed Bannan for his performance and ‘support’ of his young teammates, and the veteran midfielder will need a similarly stellar display when the in-form R’s visit Hillsborough this weekend.
