Danny Rohl has proven himself to be an invaluable manager to Sheffield Wednesday, seeing them improve a great deal in 2024/25 despite struggles behind the scenes.
When Danny Rohl took over at Hillsborough, the Owls were in danger of being relegated from the Championship.
However, Sheffield Wednesday made a late charge last season and were able to secure their second-tier status for 2024/25.
The Yorkshire outfit have since improved a lot on their previous campaign and, in theory, could still be in contention for the play-offs.

Granted, this is unlikely to happen after some recent poor form, but the job Rohl has done in the last year or so has been excellent.
However, his future in the Sheffield Wednesday dugout has been uncertain for some time and he’s now been linked with another job.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl among candidates for RB Leipzig job
As we revealed recently, Rohl has a release clause in his Sheffield Wednesday contract said to be worth near £5m.
The German has been linked with a move to Southampton as well, despite the Saints being set to suffer relegation from the Premier League this season.
Fans would no doubt hate to lose Rohl, but with Sheffield Wednesday unable to pay wages and a potential sale of the Owls discussed, it would not be surprising to see him look for a new role in the summer.
And one may now have opened up in the last week, with RB Live naming the Owls boss as one of six candidates to take over at RB Leipzig.
Leipzig sacked Marco Rose recently, and sporting director Marcel Schafer confirmed on Monday that the German outfit ‘will hold discussions and present a convincing solution by the summer’.
He said: “We are looking for a coach who fully identifies with our club’s philosophy, who plays attractive, attacking football, who always wants to be active with and against the ball.
“We have a clear plan for how we want to play football, an idea of what the profile looks like, and accordingly we will hold discussions and present a convincing solution by the summer.”

Who Sheffield Wednesday are considering to replace Danny Rohl
With an exit looking likely, Sheffield Wednesday are already looking at Rohl replacement ahead of the summer.
It probably won’t come as a surprise to fans, however, that the cash-strapped club aren’t considering a high-profile appointment.
Instead, it was reported in March that Rohl’s assistant, Henrik Pedersen, is liked by Wednesday’s hierarchy and considered a top target to step up if and when their current manager departs.
His last job as a manager came with Vendsyssel FF, whom he left in 2023 after winning 30, drawing 21, and losing 31 of his 82 games in charge.
