Coventry City fans are largely pleased with owner Doug King following the club’s latest announcement.

Coventry City had a solid 2024/25, but it ultimately ended in disappointment.

The Sky Blues lost out in the Championship play-off semi-finals to Sunderland, who went on to beat Sheffield United in the final.

There has been speculation that Frank Lampard wanted the Southampton job, but that role is no longer on the table.

Elsewhere, star man Jack Rudoni is the subject of transfer interest from a number of Championship clubs, including Sheff Utd.

Now, the club have made an announcement on May 29 that has earned much praise from fans.

Coventry City fans react to new season ticket prices

Coventry will spend another season in the second tier of English football and have announced their season ticket prices for the forthcoming campaign.

The news has largely been met with positivity, with several supporters opting to praise owner Doug King.

One fan wrote: “Fair play. Thank you Mr King !!!”

A second responded: “Fair prices, well done Doug.”

“Was to be expected tbf. Last season’s adult price in FZ was a steal. Can’t complain at £440 if we’re pushing for promotion. Success comes with a price tag. And before the FZ was introduced adult was £400. £40 increase over 2 seasons, I’ll take that,” another stated.

A fourth added: “Was expecting £450-£500, so only a £40 increase is absolutely fair after a couple of years of price freezes. £440 to watch 23 games in the Championship is great value when you compare it to other clubs in the division.”

A fifth Coventry fan wrote: “Gowan Dougy son fair pricing this.”

And a sixth tweeted: “Same price as last year and for car parking too! Well done!”
