West Bromwich Albion remained in the play-off spots despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Millwall on Saturday afternoon.
Millwall took the lead after less than 20 minutes as defender Jake Cooper opened the scoring for the hosts.
But West Brom swiftly responded when an attack from the away side forced Joe Bryan into scoring an own goal for the second successive match.
However, that would prove to be the last goal of the game, as neither side were able to find a second-half winner.
West Brom have now endured two Championship games without a victory, but it wasn’t all bad for the Baggies on Saturday afternoon.

West Brom supporters delighted by Daryl Dike return
Following his appearance against Millwall, the Baggies striker wrote on Twitter/X: “Been a long year without doing what I love. So happy to be back playing again.”
His post was greeted with plenty of positivity as one West Brom supporter commented: “We’re all behind you, big man.”
Meanwhile, two more said: “It’s so good to see you back” and “Long may it continue.”
One West Brom fan who had travelled to The Den commented: “The build-up to that first step onto the pitch from the away end was the best moment of the day yesterday.”
Another X user wrote: “Glad to have you back… it topped off my birthday seeing you back on the pitch where you belong.”
A fellow Baggies fan said: “Absolutely fantastic to see you back out there!” And, finally, one supporter commented: “Great to see you back on the pitch, Daryl.”
West Brom’s official Twitter/X account got in on the act, too, posting: “It was so good to see you back, Daryl Dike.”
Dike sustained an Achilles tear back in February 2024, just one year on from previously suffering an Achilles tear in his opposite leg.
It has been a long year on the sidelines for the USA international, but he will now hope that his attacking efforts can bolster his side’s chances of finishing in the Championship play-offs come May.
West Brom also boosted their forward line during the January transfer window with the additions of Adam Armstrong and Will Lankshear, who signed on loan from Premier League clubs Southampton and Tottenham respectively, while Josh Maja remains one of the top strikers in the division.

Tony Mowbray shares disappointment with West Brom draw
West Brom were happy to witness the return of previously long-term absentee Dike, who showed his goal-scoring qualities during the 2022/23 season in which he scored seven goals in 23 Championship outings.
However, Baggies boss Tony Mowbray was left unhappy with his side’s draw with Millwall and told BBC Radio West Midlands: “We’re disappointed with the draw, I always say to them ‘we’re here for the three points’ because I genuinely believe we have better players than Millwall and the job for me is to make sure the talent we’ve got on the pitch gets the job done.”

But, despite their manager’s wishes, West Brom were unable to get themselves over the line, and will now gear themselves up for a key clash with Oxford United next Saturday.
