Stoke City’s transfer window is in full swing after they confirmed two signings in one day.
Maksym Talovierov joined Stoke from Plymouth Argyle after just six months in Devon and was joined by Divin Mubama.
The 20-year-old forward has been brought in by Mark Robins to lead the line on loan until the end of the season.
Robins clearly has faith in Mubama and has handed him the number nine shirt as the Potters hope to have a much more successful Championship season.
What David Moyes said about Divin Mubama in 2023
Stoke’s newest addition has been making waves before joining Man City and was handed his professional debut by David Moyes in November 2022 against FCSB.
He was handed opportunities sporadically with the Hammers but made a huge impact during a Premier League game against Burnley in November 2023 as he forced Dara O’Shea into scoring an own goal to earn West Ham a win.

After that win at Turf Moor, Moyes was very complimentary of the striker and tipped him for a bright future.
He told BBC Sport: “His mentality and attitude are as good as any top player. He is so determined and works incredibly hard for the team. We need him to develop his actions and technical ability but he is only 19.
“He makes us a completely different side with his running, his pressure and the work he does off the ball for the team.”
Divin Mubama explains why he chose Stoke City
Mubama was linked with a host of Championship rivals, including Ipswich Town but ended up heading to ST4 instead.
At youth level, he was one of the most prolific strikers in England, scoring 74 times in 105 appearances and said the size of the club was why he wanted to sign for the Potters.
“Stoke City is a massive club, I’m excited to be here and determined to work hard, score goals and do everything I can to help the team,” he told the club website.
“It’s important to me that we’ve got it done early so I can focus on getting a full pre-season, learning what the manager wants and how the team plays, and making connections with my fellow players.
“Our fans can expect me to be very hungry, both for goals and for hard work, playing with huge determination to repay the faith people have shown in me.”
