Derby County are getting busy in the summer transfer window, and after announcing the signing of Carlton Morris at the end of June, there are two more new players at Pride Park.
With a £5.1m move for Patrick Agyemang potentially on the horizon, as reported by ESPN, work is being done quickly by John Eustace to get his team ready for the Championship in 2025/26.
The Rams face Stoke City away from home on the opening day and as the East Midlands outfit gear up for their first pre-season test against Matlock Town on 12 July, they have announced Danny Batth and Andreas Weimann.
After featuring for Eustace at Blackburn Rovers, Batth has made his way to Pride Park to be reunited with his former boss and Derby fans are taking the news extremely well.

Derby County fans react to Danny Batth announcement
The 34-year-old has signed a one-year contract with the Rams, and it is the second summer in a row that Eustace has signed the veteran defender.

With over 350 Championship appearances to his name and a Premier League promotion with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2017/18, there is no doubting his experience and Derby supporters have taken to social media to express their glee at this arrival.
Another put: “Welcome Danny.”
While a third Rams fan wrote: “Get the promotion Batth running.”
A fifth Derby supporter said: “Welcome aboard.”
As one Sunderland fan wished him well: “Good signing for you. He was class at Sunderland. Can see Derby hitting the play-offs under Eustace.”
Danny Batth is a fantastic addition for the Rams
Batth was a key player for Blackburn last season, and his loss will be felt hard at Ewood Park as they source a replacement.
| Appearances (starts) | 37 (34) |

Leadership at the back is very much needed, especially as Derby are starting the season with their defence hit by injuries. While he may not be as crucial at Pride Park, the Rams are better off having the 34-year-old in their side than not.
It’s been a strong start to the summer for Eustace and there will be high hopes for the new season.
