Liam Manning has singled out one Norwich City star that has improved week by week and is now a force to be reckoned with.
It’s been a mixed start for the Canaries this season, who came within seconds of claiming all three points against Coventry City before Haji Wright’s 96th minute equaliser.
While Josh Sargent led the line for Norwich at the weekend, Frank Lampard’s side were able to nullify the threat of one of the Championship’s best players.
Wrexham will be tasked with doing the same at Carrow Road this weekend, but he isn’t the only threat.

Liam Manning praises Jakob Medic
Norwich had a big upheaval in the summer and one of the positions where plenty of reinforcements came in was the defence.
Harry Darling has looked solid in the heart of defence, as has his partner, Jakob Medic.
The draw against Coventry was Medic’s best performance since joining from Ajax, and Manning thinks that he is improving every week.
“I thought Jakob showed some encouraging things, some real aggression, the use of his body when defending, and he’ll continue to get better,” said the Norwich boss. “You are always striving for elements of consistency, and Championship football is so different.
“The intensity from start to finish never drops. I think that’s probably slightly different for some of them, in terms of when you’re playing in other leagues the difference in levels. Maybe in some other countries you can have periods where the game settles a little more than what it does is here.”
Jakob Medic tasked with keeping Kieffer Moore quiet
It’s been a difficult start to Championship life for Wrexham, and their loss against Queens Park Rangers highlighted some glaring problems in the defensive area.
Their attack has been much more competitive, however, scoring eight goals in their first five games.
Kieffer Moore’s experience has been pivotal for Phil Parkinson’s men and is their top scorer with four goals.
Medic has already had to deal with the likes of Wright, and spends his training sessions keeping Sargent at bay.
Moore’s height and physical presence make him a nightmare to deal with. Can he handle it?
