Frank Lampard has heaped the praise on Robbie Savage for aiding in the development of one young Coventry City star.
In a bid to get the next generation of talent at Coventry some first-team experience, Lampard has opted to send some younger members of the squad out on loan.
One of those helping out is Savage, who has made a wonderful start to life as manager of National League club Forest Green Rovers.
Playing in a winning environment is important if anyone is going to make it with the Sky Blues, and the Coventry manager likes what he’s heard so far.

Frank Lampard impressed by Isaac Moore loan spell under Savage
One of those whom Savage has taken under his wing is midfielder Isaac Moore.
The 19-year-old joined on a season-long loan and made headlines after scoring a brilliant solo goal against Wolves’ U21s side.
Moore has started in six of the nine games, helping Forest Green reach the top of the league, and Lampard is delighted with how things have gone.
“Isaac’s a really good player, a really good young player who’s had his injury problems before I got here. He’s trained with us and was great; a really good lad who’s very easy to work with and coach. He wants to train and play and engage, so it was perfect timing for him to go out and get games,” Lampard told Coventry Live.
“The second thing I’ll say is to talk about Robbie Savage, who’s doing brilliantly, by the way, and who I saw on Sky Sports talking the other day. He was really open and honest when he wanted to take Isaac. He rang me to ask me what he’s like, ask what I think and told me what he could do for him and how he’d be great for them.
“Every time he plays, he sends me feedback. He sent me the goal the other day that he scored and that’s exactly what you want – a manager that’s played the game, understands what it is and he wants to help the player. He wants to help us a little bit and the boy is helping him, so let’s hope that continues.”

It is a beautiful piece of solo magic that sees Moore take the ball from deep in his own half to start with.
A quick lay off to the supporting winger then saw the 19-year-old continue his run before receiving the ball and stroking it home.
