The future of star man Jack Rudoni at Coventry City has been cast into doubt over the last week.
The Sky Blues narrowly missed out on Premier League promotion last season, making it all the way to the Championship play-offs.
One of Coventry City’s brightest talents in the previous campaign was Jack Rudoni.
He scored nine goals and provided 13 assists and, unsurprisingly, has garnered transfer interest this summer.

How Frank Lampard feels about Jack Rudoni
It was previously reported that Coventry were prepared to sell Rudoni this summer if Premier League interest came about.
This week, meanwhile, it has been claimed that Southampton have made an approach for the Sky Blues’ ace.
Now, Sky Sports’ Lee Hendrie has been discussing a potential move for Rudoni, with a £15m price-tag mooted.
When doing so, Hendrie said that he ‘knows’ that Frank Lampard ‘thinks he is a fabulous asset’.
Speaking to Football League World, he said: “Last season he was so, so good. I think Frank Lampard really did get the best out of him, and spoke highly of what he does.
“I watched him when he was at Huddersfield and there was always something in there that made me think he could really kick on.
“There is a £15 million price-tag, but I am sure they will want to keep him. I know that Frank thinks he is a fabulous asset for the football club, and he proved that last season.
“£15 million, yes, is probably fair. He is definitely worth anywhere in that region, for sure. It is just whether that tempts one of those Premier League clubs to have a punt, as for £15 million I would certainly be looking at taking him because, as I said, he was so, so key for Coventry and Frank really did get the best out of him.
“His goals, his timing into the box from midfield. A very good player, and well worth £15 million.”
What Jack Rudoni has said about Frank Lampard
As already mentioned, Rudoni had a prolific 2024/25 under the former Chelsea and England midfielder.
Speaking back in May, Rudoni praised Lampard and mentioned how much he has learned from the Coventry boss.
He said: “I’ve learned a lot in the short time working with him. [We] work together on the pitch, and he helps me with goal scoring and getting into the area with different types of finishes.”
“I had a real eagerness to learn everything off him. He’s done everything in the game, and he’s the best at it from midfield.
“He was my favourite player growing up. There’s no one better to work with, especially with finishing.
“It’s just good it’s coming out into the games now – I’m starting to reap the rewards of the hard work on the training pitch.
