Danny Rohl’s stint as Sheffield Wednesday manager is coming to an end after what has been a hectic summer.
Danny Rohl has been linked with many clubs over the last few months as he made it clear he was looking to leave.
Sheffield Wednesday have financial problems, and the German took an extended break, not returning for the start of pre-season.
The manager was back with the squad this week for the first time, but Owls players were not happy with Rohl and the way he has conducted himself of late.
Now, after issues with the squad, EFL Analysis revealed earlier on July 17 that Rohl will be leaving Sheffield Wednesday.
And the Yorkshire outfit already have a likely replacement for him lined up.

How Sheffield Wednesday players feel about Henrik Pedersen
EFL Analysis has been told to expect coach Henrik Pedersen to take charge of the first team moving forward once Rohl is gone.
Pedersen signed a new contract last week, and an insight into how he is viewed by Sheffield Wednesday stars has been reported.
Rohl’s dismissal comes on the back of issues with the players, despite clear-the-air talks taking place.
Pedersen is not expected to have any such problems, however, with it reported in The Star that, by all accounts, the Wednesday players fully respect the coach.

Henrik Pedersen record as manager
The 47-year-old has been acting as an assistant at Hillsborough since 2023.
However, Pedersen does have previous experience in the dugout as the man in charge.
He had a brief stint as Eintracht Braunschweig boss in 2018, winning two, drawing five and losing seven of his 14 matches.
In 2019, he became manager of Strømsgodset, winning 13, drawing 15 and losing 21 with the Norwegian side.
Most recently, Pedersen was appointed Vendsyssel FF boss in July 2021 until October 2023.
He won 30, drew 21, and lost 31 during an 840-day spell with them before joining Sheffield Wednesday.
