MK Dons are well and truly favourites to secure promotion from League Two this season.
Paul Warne’s arrival at Stadium MK has seen a raft of new signings join the club, some of whom have dropped down leagues to come to the fourth tier.
Two of the most impressive coups include the signing of Aaron Collins from Bolton Wanderers and earlier this week, MK Dons signed Callum Paterson from crisis club Sheffield Wednesday.
Last season was terrible for the Dons, who found themselves in the lower depths of the League Two table, but there is a different vibe around the club this time, all thanks to Warne.

How Paul Warne has turned MK Dons into League Two favourites
One of those who was a part of the promotion favourites’ difficult campaign last year was Callum Hendry.
He’s already noticed the huge impact Warne has made from changing how the dressing rooms look to the environment on the pitch, boding well for the season opener.
“The gaffer has made a really good culture at the club now,” he told the MK Citizen.
“It’s dramatically different, and it had to be. Last year was not good enough, the culture was not good. Everyone inside the club knows that, and it’s just a different feel and it feels good.
“This is how I should be as a footballer. My dad and my missus will tell you, I play better when I’ve got a smile on my face, and I’ve enjoyed it this summer.”
Anything but promotion will be a failure for MK Dons
League Two is a strong division with plenty of sides that will consider themselves as contenders for promotion but the reality is that MK Dons should be blowing teams out of the water.
The seven signings they have made have all raised eyebrows across the league, as well as the addition of former Derby County boss Warne as their new manager.
Stacked full of talent, you would expect the Dons to come away with three points most weekends and if they don’t get promoted, it would have to be considered as a failure.
