Jed Wallace has opened up on West Bromwich Albion’s failure to make the play-offs.
West Brom were on course for a top six spot but a drastic dip in form has seen the Baggies removed from the equation in the Championship play-off race.
Defeats to Coventry City and Derby County over the Easter weekend confirmed their place in the second tier for another season, leading to the dismissal of Tony Mowbray.
It’s been very disappointing for West Brom and Wallace has been brutally honest about his side’s season.

Jed Wallace brutal about West Brom’s season
Since Carlos Corberan was replaced by Mowbray, a run of five wins in 18 games saw Albion surrender their place in the play-offs.
With Bristol City and Millwall – two teams West Brom would consider themselves to be better than – in the frame to finish in the top six, Wallace admitted it’s been a ‘massively disappointing’ campaign.

He told BBC Radio WM: “It’s been massively disappointing – take the first five games out of the season and our points-per-game has been average.
“It’s disappointing looking at the table in disbelief. The amount of chances we’ve missed, the amount of late goals and individual errors is the tale of the season – it’s not acceptable for a club this size.”
West Brom on course for lowest points finish
As if the end of the season hadn’t been a write off already, West Brom are going to set a new low.
With one game of the season to go against Luton Town, the maximum they can finish on is 64 points.
This would be the Baggies’ lowest Championship points tally since the 99/00 campaign.
It will also be club legend James Morrison’s final game as interim manager before they look on to appoint a new permanent replacement.
