Derby County are still in the driving seat when it comes to survival in the Championship, following another important victory.
The Rams picked up another key three points when they beat West Brom, a result that ended up with Tony Mowbray getting sacked by the Baggies.
While the impact of that is being felt at the Hawthorns, there is a brighter outlook for Derby and their bid to survive in the Championship.
John Eustace helped mastermind a 3-1 win over West Brom as goals from Ebou Adams, Jerry Yates, and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing sealed the points.
One factor proved huge for both teams, though, with time on the training ground clearly paying off for the Rams.

Jerry Yates reveals Derby County work on set-pieces
For teams struggling at the bottom end of any division, the percentages they swing in their favour can often be the key to success.
In the case of Derby, it has been their impact from corners, free-kicks and throw-ins that have brought them the minor gains that result in major boosts.
With two goals from corners at West Brom to give them a clear advantage in the game, the secret weapon of set-pieces are clearly paying off.
Speaking after the game to RamsTV, goal scorer Yates revealed just how much emphasis has been put on set-pieces in training under Eustace.
He said: “They are a massive strength for us. We work on that day in, day out.
“We’ve got some incredible lads that can go and attack a set-piece and defend at the other end as well, so it’s a massive part of our game. We work on it daily, and it’s coming off for us.”
It has certainly paid off when it comes to the victory over West Brom, along with the season as a whole.

Jerry Yates claims he should have more goals for Derby this season
Entering into the new campaign, it was clear that Derby needed some reinforcements in the forward ranks to bolster their scoring options.
Landing Jerry Yates on loan from Swansea City appeared to be a coup for the Rams, and at times, he has certainly played at a level above.
In other matches, the striker has been relatively quiet, and he feels as though he should definitely have more goals under his belt.
Speaking after the West Brom victory, where he scored his tenth of the season, he added: “You obviously always aim for more and, to be honest, I’m a big self-critic.
“I should have more, but it is what it is. As long as the lads and this team stays up, I’m not really bothered how many I get.”
He could still have a big contribution before the season ends, with just two games left of his loan spell at the club.
