Luton Town will finally begin work on their brand-new stadium in the summer.
The Hatters have been planning ahead for their move into the new-look Power Court stadium after being at their current home, Kenilworth Road, for over 100 years.
In a statement on the club’s official website, the club said: “Luton Town Football Club is set to begin construction this summer on a brand-new 25,000-capacity stadium at Power Court, marking a new chapter in the Club’s history.”
Additionally, Luton revealed that the they had partnered with Limak International, who were responsible for the redevelopment of Barcelona’s iconic Camp Nou.
It’s safe to say that Luton fans are excited by the announcement too.

After the club shared fresh images of what Power Court will look like, supporters took to X to shaow their excitement.

When will Luton move into their new stadium?
As confirmed by the club in their statement, the Hatters hope to play their first competitive fixture at Power Court at the beginning of the 2028/29 season.
That means there are just three years remaining at Kenilworth Road, which has become one of the most iconic stadiums in the Championship and England as a whole.
The club also added that their new ground will be “one of the most environmentally sustainable stadiums ever built in the UK”.
