Leicester City return to pre-season training as they begin the 2025/26 season without a manager.
The Foxes sacked Ruud van Nistelrooy just days before the players were due to return to the Seagrave training ground centre.
Off the pitch, the club is in huge trouble as owners King Power are involved in all kinds of financial bother and several acts of mismanagement have led to the likes of Richard Keys calling for Jon Rudkin to be sacked.
Danny Rohl is the favourite to take the reins at Leicester and the German could face Sheffield Wednesday on the opening day if appointed.
For now, Leicester are working with what they have got and a collection of first-team staff will oversee preparations.
Without further ado, here are the coaches leading Leicester into this season.

Andy King – first team coach
In difficult times, there may be no better person to have at the Foxes than Andy King.
Mr Leicester City, King won League One, the Championship and the Premier League during his time in the East Midlands and is one of the club’s most popular players of all time.
After retiring, King joined Leicester’s youth academy before being promoted by Van Nistelrooy to join the first team staff.
He was one of those to remain at the club and his presence will be most welcome.
Jelle ten Rouwelaar – Goalkeeping coach
Jelle ten Rouwelaar was appointed as the club’s goalkeeping coach and first team coach by Van Nistelrooy when he joined in November 2024.
He was one of the names that wasn’t listed after his colleague was given his marching orders by the Foxes and will be at the training ground for pre-season.

Rouwelaar may not be around for long though, with Brighton & Hove Albion reportedly keen on bringing him to the Amex Stadium.
Matt Reeves – Sports science/fitness coach
Matt Reeves has been a mainstay at Leicester for several years and will remain with the club once again.
Well-liked by the players, Reeves is regularly spotted in the club’s social media training sessions leading the players through warm ups and is responsible for a lot of the day-to-day tasks at hand.
Reeves will be vital throughout pre-season from a fitness perspective but in terms of actual coaching, King will be the more hands-on figure.
