Pre-season preparations are underway, and Liam Manning has a lot of new players to bed into his Norwich City squad, but one new boy looks pretty comfortable already.
Norwich have already brought in seven new faces this summer, and it seems Manning has his eyes on two more new signings soon, too.
One position the Canaries have well and truly covered this summer is the goalkeeper area, with three new arrivals in that role alone.
Of those, it seems Vladan Kovacevic will be the new Norwich number one, but fans are already starting to sweat after seeing him in action.

Vladan Kovacevic has Norwich City fans worried
Kovacevic pulled on the Norwich kit for the first time this weekend in a pre-season friendly versus Belgian outfit Zulte Waregem. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, but fans saw enough of Kovacevic to put together an early verdict on the ‘keeper.
In particular, they were stunned to watch the Bosnian pull off a risky move on the edge of his own box, performing a Cruyff turn before playing a through ball to his teammate, Ante Crnac.
One fan on Twitter/X wrote: “Imagine him doing that in front of the River End! That kind of thing looks great when it comes off but it’s just a very avoidable mistake waiting to happen.”
Another added, “Can already hear the River End cries of ‘just kick it long’,” while a third said, “Does this make anyone else slightly nervous?”
One supporter simply said: “This is absolutely terrifying.”
However, with the move being successful, some were pretty impressed. One fan replied, “Unreal that. We haven’t had a keeper make that pass for years.”
Another simply described Norwich’s passage of play as “liquid football.”

Liam Manning will be hoping his new goalkeeper is high risk, high reward
While the signings of Daniel Grimshaw and Louie Moulden offer Norwich great depth in the goalkeeping department, there is no doubt that Kovacevic will be the main man.
The 6ft3in Bosnian is a man mountain and clearly has a penchant for the erratic and entertaining. Whether that will come back to bite him or not remains to be seen, but it’ll be fun to watch at least.
It’s hard to gauge. Sporting Lisbon splashed out around £5.2m on Kovacevic not long ago, which suggests he clearly has the talent to perform at the top level. But, the fact they let him go this summer also suggests there could be some concerns.
For Manning, having a ball-playing, confident goalkeeper could well be the key to unlocking the expansive, attacking play he hopes the Canaries will benefit from this season.
