Charlton Athletic are looking to bolster their squad ahead of next season, with a Belgian international goalkeeper taking their interest.
Following their fantastic 2024/25 League One campaign under Nathan Jones, Charlton Athletic are set to add to their ranks as they get ready for the Championship season.
Charlton have already shown ambition this summer by tying Jones down to a new contract, deterring interest from Cardiff City, who attempted to take the Addicks boss. There is no doubt that, because of the gaffer’s allegiance being maintained with the club, he will likely get some investment into players this summer.
One area that Charlton are looking to strengthen is in-between the sticks, and for that vacancy, a Belgian international with EFL experience has been found – and he would have a key reason to join the club.

Charlton Athletic eye up move for Thomas Kaminski from Luton Town
After Luton Town’s relegation to League One, it is expected that several of their players will attract interest from Championship clubs, in particular.
Charlton are one of those clubs pursuing a Hatters star, with Nathan Jones reportedly keen on Thomas Kaminski, per Darren Witcoop on X.
Kaminski, 32, was Luton’s prominent shot-stopper over the last two seasons, notably playing all 38 games in the 2023/24 Premier League campaign. The goalkeeper also has notched a cap for Belgium, having come on from the bench against Ireland.
Witcoop also suggests that fellow Luton stars Tahith Chong and Thelo Aasgaard are also attracting Championship interest, something that could allude to Charlton showing interest in either of the pair as well.

Thomas Kaminski has one major reason to leave Luton Town this summer
Like with many of the Luton Town squad, they significantly underperformed last season, but the majority are still Championship quality, including Kaminski.
In order to salvage their careers, many will want to move back up to the Championship, which is where Charlton Athletic comes in.
As a locally-based, yet ambitious club, Charlton will interest many of the Luton stars, and could be a reason why Kaminski does potentially come through the doors at The Valley.
It would be no surprise to see a fire sale at Luton this season, something that Charlton mustn’t sit back and watch – they are in the prime position to pick up some top talents from the Hatters.
