Ipswich Town are looking to pick themselves up and dust themselves off after suffering relegation back to the Championship.
The past season has been the first real bump in the road that Kieran McKenna has endured at Portman Road, following back-to-back promotions.
Following those difficulties, Ipswich will be looking to make a return to the Premier League, but they may need some extra firepower in the team.
Liam Delap’s transfer to Chelsea has left a gap in the team, and while George Hirst and Ali Al-Hamadi are available, the Tractor Boys may opt for another option.
So, with that said, here’s a look at five strikers Ipswich should look at signing this summer.

Five strikers Ipswich Town should look to sign this summer
Ivan Azon
Ipswich have made enquiries about Ivan Azon this summer, with the Como striker being viewed as a potential option.
The 22-year-old only signed for Como in February, but failed to make a single appearance in Serie A since.
Before then, Azon broke through at Real Zaragoza, where he scored 27 goals and assisted nine times in 150 appearances.
It’s clear the youngster has some potential and could be another bargain signing for the Tractor Boys this summer.
Emmanuel Latte Lath
Emmanuel Latte Lath was a target for Ipswich in previous windows, but they ended up missing out on the Middlesbrough striker to Atlanta United.
Despite that, the forward appears to be a potential target again this summer, should an exit be possible in the coming weeks.
The 26-year-old scored 29 goals in 67 appearances for Middlesbrough, while he has eight goals for Atlanta so far.
Michael Carrick was full of praise for the forward back in 2024, claiming he was “sharp” when coming into games, making an impact.

Mihailo Ivanovic
If Ipswich want to shop in the Championship, then they should look no further than Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanovic.
The 20-year-old has plenty of potential for the future, having made the move from Serbia to the Championship last season.
| Appearances | Goals | Assists |
|---|---|---|
| 37 | 12 | 0 |
With 12 goals under his belt already, Ivanovic has the ability to scale up that production and could do so for the Blues.
Standing over six feet tall, Ivanovic is a real threat, not least if he has Leif Davis providing crosses for him.
Josh Maja
Another top option is Josh Maja, who has shown plenty of ability with his return to English football at West Brom.
Despite persistent injury concerns, the 26-year-old scored 12 goals in the Championship last season in just 26 appearances.

Youssef Chermiti
If Ipswich turn to the loan market instead, then perhaps someone like Youssef Chermiti would suit them well.
The youngster has rarely featured for Everton since making the move from Sporting CP, and with Thierno Barry joining, there will likely be fewer opportunities to impress.
However, there is plenty of potential there, something McKenna could tap into, perhaps leading to a permanent deal too.
