Nathan Jones has gone back to raid his old club again as Charlton Athletic confirmed their latest signing.
Reece Burke has joined from Luton Town for an undisclosed fee and will be a part of the Championship club.
Burke told the club website that he has a “good connection” with Jones having been signed by him in 2021 when at Kenilworth Road.
The defender has joined an ever-growing contingent of former Hatters players at The Valley as the Charlton boss looks to replicate his rise to the top once again.
Nathan Jones has signed four former Luton players
It’s not what you know, it’s who you know in football and Jones is certainly following that mantra.
Following the arrival of Burke, that’s now the fourth ex-Luton player to join the club.
Goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski has joined the Addicks, as has left-back Amari’i Bell.
Luke Berry was also at the club last season and one of Jones’ first signings when he joined the club.

Could Nathan replicate Luton miracle with Charlton?
Despite the signings, Charlton are early favourites to be relegated from the Championship, but that won’t stop Jones.
Punching above his weight is what he does best and when tipped to fail, that’s when he succeeds.
As seen with Luton, he transformed a side nailed on to be relegated back to League One into a team with Premier League aspirations.
The Hatters reached the Championship play-offs under his watch and fell short first time around but he laid the foundations for success and ultimately, they reached the promised land.
Yes, Charlton could be considered favourites to go down, but don’t rule them out of causing an upset or two.
