EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal that Brentford are still desperate to sign Ipswich Town’s Omari Hutchinson.
The Ipswich winger has attracted plenty of interest from Premier League clubs this summer after Kieran McKenna’s side were relegated.
Brentford had a £35m bid for Hutchinson rejected, leaving him disappointed by the Tractor Boys’ decision.
Keith Andrews is determined to land his man, though, after selling Bryan Mbeumo to Manchester United, but one stumbling block still remains.

Omari Hutchinson keen on Brentford move, but Ipswich set asking price
Ipswich have already lost Liam Delap this summer and are keen to avoid selling another one of their star players, despite expecting bids for Hutchinson.
Every player has an asking price and EFL Analysis’ Chief Football Correspondent Graeme Bailey has revealed that McKenna and Ipswich are sticking to what they want.
Bailey revealed that the £35m release clause needed to be paid upfront but now the Premier League side will need to go above that and closer to the £40m mark in order to land their top target.
Keith Andrews doesn’t have a positive memory of Ipswich Town
Thomas Frank’s replacement actually has previous connections to Ipswich after a six-month loan spell at Portman Road between August 2011-January 2012.
Andrews was keen to extend that stay permanently but in the end he went to West Bromwich Albion.
In an interview with BBC Radio Suffolk, he said: “I haven’t been given the impression by the club that they want to do anything.
“A few weeks ago I told my agent to phone Ipswich out of courtesy because he was speaking to other clubs on my behalf.
“Because I was enjoying it here I wanted him to touch base with Ipswich. From our point of view they haven’t really given us the impression they want to do anything.”
