In an EFL Analysis exclusive, we can reveal that Lincoln City midfielder Ethan Erhahon is attracting interest from several clubs, including Derby County and Blackburn Rovers.

Lincoln City finished their League One campaign marooned in mid-table with a whopping 17 points between them and sixth-place Leyton Orient.

The Imps ended their season with defeats to Dave Challinor’s Stockport County before feeling the wrath of already-promoted Wrexham on the final day.

While another campaign of third-tier football beckons for manager Michael Skubala, he could also lose one of his prized assets in the summer transfer window.

Six EFL clubs are chasing Lincoln City midfielder Ethan Erhahon

As per information from our Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal that Lincoln midfielder Ethan Erhahon is drawing interest from a host of EFL clubs.

The 24-year-old was wanted by Plymouth Argyle and Preston North End in the January transfer window, and those clubs remain keen on the Scottish star.

Meanwhile, Derby County, Millwall, Blackburn Rovers and Oxford United are all keeping tabs on Erhahon, who has been ‘magnificent’ for Lincoln during the past 12 months.

At the end of the 2023/24 campaign, the Imps director of football, Jez George, expected a club-record sale to be generated for the all-action midfielder.

The largest sum Lincoln have accrued from a player’s transfer is about £640,000 for defender Harry Toffolo when he was sold to Huddersfield Town in January 2020.

That means Erhahon could fetch a seven-figure sum once he leaves Lincoln, which is expected to be during the next summer window.

Erhahon is a typical box-to-box midfielder, capable of driving forward with power but also showcasing his ball-winning attributes.

The Lincoln City ace often goes under the radar, as he doesn’t regularly chip in with goals and assists, though his ability to maintain possession and win it back is quality.

For any Championship teams wanting an old-fashioned style midfielder who does the basics very well, Erhahon is the man.
