Gerhard Struber is preparing for his first season in charge at Bristol City.
The Robins reached the play-offs for the first time in 17 years last season but lost Liam Manning to Norwich City and also striker Nahki Wells, who joined Luton Town.
Adam Randell and Emil Riis have moved to Ashton Gate and Struber is hoping to reunite with one of his former players, but one thing is holding the transfer back.

Bristol City transfer news: Robins eye Koln left back
According to Kicker in Germany, Bristol City are keen to sign Leart Pacarada.
The 30-year-old played under Struber at Koln and has played 54 times in all competitions since joining in July 2023 permanently following loan spell the season before.

Pacarada also represents the national team of Kosovo and would be direct competition for Cameron Pring and Haydon Roberts.
He has also registered nine assists in that time, which will be music to the ears of main striking options Riis and Sinclair Armstrong.
Bristol City face one problem in Leart Pacarada pursuit
Any chances of Struber sealing a deal to reunite with Pacarada could be blocked due to the lack of options at Koln.
The Bundesliga outfit sold Max Finkgrafe to RB Leipzig and the only other option is Dominique Heintz, who plays at centre-back.
Koln also tried to sign left back Kristoffer Lund, however, that move broke down and given that they have no other options, a sale is unlikely.
