EFL Analysis understands Leeds United are interested in a permanent deal for Manor Solomon, but they will only pay Tottenham so much.

Thanks to Daniel Farke’s excellent record, Leeds United are currently on course to secure promotion from the Championship.

The Peacocks suffered a minor setback in their last outing, dropping points to QPR, but they remain top of the second tier ahead of Sheffield United and Burnley.

With Leeds on course to be plying their trade in the top flight once more come 2025/26, fans are no doubt looking forward to the summer transfer window and the season ahead.

Ao Tanaka is expected to excel in the Premier League after his starring debut campaign at Elland Road.

Another recent signing who has shone this term is Manor Solomon, and we now have an update on the forward’s future.

Solomon’s future, meanwhile, is no doubt on the minds of Leeds fans, given how well he has played in 2024/25.

And EFL Anyalsis have an exclusive update on his future and the Peacocks’ plans for him, as per transfer expert Graeme Bailey.

It’s understood that Leeds are open to a transfer if the deal is right, but they will not go as high as £10m to secure his services.

Bailey told us: “Manor Solomon has done really well, he has really forced his way into Daniel Farke’s plans and has shown he is too good not to be playing.

“If the deal is right, I understand they will do it. Spurs signed him for nothing, so a sale will look good on the PSR spreadsheet. I don’t think Leeds will go as high as £10m for him.”

Danie Farke made ‘unhappy’ Manor Solomon claim

While Solomon has played 31 league games this term, it’s very rare that he completes 90 minutes under Farke.

The Tottenham loanee was taken off after 84 minutes in Leeds’ last fixture and didn’t seem best pleased.

However, speaking post-match, Farke was not angry at the winger’s attitude, instead insisting he is an important player.

He said: “Manor is always unhappy when he is not playing all 97 minutes, but he started all three games in six days. He is important for us. [He] created a lot.”

Whether he’s important enough for Leeds to pay what Tottenham want in the summer remains to be seen.
