Hull City are gearing up for a busy summer transfer window with new manager Sergej Jakirovic at the helm.
After narrowly surviving relegation from the Championship in 2024/25, Hull City sacked Ruben Selles, with Acun Ilicali pulling the trigger on yet another manager at the MKM Stadium.
The Spaniard was replaced at the helm by former Dinamo Zagreb boss Sergej Jakirovic, who was thrown into the Hull hot seat.
Hull are expected to be active, with Jakirovic due a healthy budget to spend on new players in his first season in charge.
The Tigers have been linked to a number of players already, and the latest is a favourite of their new manager, Jakirovic, from his time at Dinamo Zagreb.
‘Genuine interest’ and ‘inquiries made’ by Hull City for Arbër Hoxha
Hull City have been linked with a number of attacking options, including Louie Barry, demonstrating what type of player they want to attract to the club.
As per information from our Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal that Hull have ‘genuine interest’ in signing Arbër Hoxha.

The Albanian international has been linked to a number of clubs in Turkey, while there is also interest from teams in Italy too.
However, the link between Hoxha and Jakirovic from their time at Dinamo Zagreb together last season is an important factor, with ‘inquiries made by Hull to his people’ in order to get the deal done.
Who is Arber Hoxha?
Arbër Hoxha is a winger currently playing his football with Dinamo Zagreb, the most successful team in the Croatian top flight, playing Champions League football last season too.
The 26-year-old is also an Albanian international, having made 13 appearances for the country; however, he has also made three appearances for Kosovo before switching his international allegiance.
