As Ipswich Town prepare for their promotion push in the Championship, EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal who their next signing could be.
Kieran McKenna has been able to keep most of his Ipswich Town squad together ahead of the new campaign, at least for now.
While the loss of star striker Liam Delap was a blow, the Tractor Boys benefitted from a very good deal when he joined Chelsea.
Ipswich recently added Azor Matusiwa to their squad, a signing everyone is very excited about. Now, they’re lining up their next addition.

Ipswich Town hoping to beat top flight clubs to Sunday Joseph signing
In an EFL Analysis exclusive, courtesy of our transfer expert Graeme Bailey, we can reveal that Ipswich are hopeful they can secure the signature of Nigerian starlet Sunday Joseph.
We understand Ipswich are currently leading the race for the 18-year-old, who has been on trial with the Tractor Boys throughout July.
They have been impressed with Joseph, who came through the same Lagos-based Nath Boys Academy that produced Leicester City star Wilfried Ndidi.
The problem is, Ipswich are not alone in their pursuit of Joseph, with Premier League outfit Brentford also keen to take a look at the youngster. Meanwhile, Swiss giants Basel and Greek outfit PAOK are also interested.

Omari Hutchinson’s future could factor into Sunday Joseph move
The interesting factor in this latest development is that Brentford were close to signing Omari Hutchinson last week. The Bees had tried to trigger the Ipswich man’s release clause, but it’s thought they missed the deadline to do so.
Hutchinson is believed to be keen to join Brentford, though, so that deal may still happen. The fact that the Premier League side are now showing interest in Ipswich’s latest transfer target, also a winger, may well be coincidence, but it could also be the start of a transfer domino effect.
If Sunday Joseph does sign for Ipswich, Brentford could well be tempted to go back for Hutchinson again, knowing that the Tractor Boys now have a replacement lined up. That’s pure speculation, of course, but not beyond the realms of possibility.
