As Leeds United look destined for promotion to the Premier League, we can exclusively reveal that the Whites are already lining up transfer business for the summer, with one player set to leave, and another potentially returning.
As things stand, Leeds United are three points clear at the top of the Championship table with Sheffield United in hot pursuit, but third-placed Burnley are eight points behind with a game in hand.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 35 | 22 | 10 | 3 | 72 | 22 | 50 | 76 | |
| 2 | 35 | 23 | 6 | 6 | 50 | 27 | 23 | 73 | |
| 3 | 34 | 18 | 14 | 2 | 43 | 9 | 34 | 68 | |
| 4 | 35 | 18 | 11 | 6 | 52 | 32 | 20 | 65 |
There’s still a lot to play for, of course, but the relentless march of Leeds has got second tier fans suspecting the title race is over already.
Regardless, it seems Leeds are preparing for next season well in advance, and EFL Analysis understands the club have agreed a deal to move on one player who’s out on loan currently.

Leeds United will sell Rasmus Kristensen to Eintracht Frankfurt
In an EFL Analysis exclusive, transfer expert and TBR Football’s Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, tells us Leeds will sell Rasmus Kristensen in the summer, after the Danish international’s successful spell on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Bailey said: “Frankfurt had an option worth around £10million but Leeds have now accepted a deal worth almost half that amount.
“We understand that Leeds had considered that Kristensen could be brought back to Elland Road given his Premier League experience, but the Danish international made it clear via his representatives that he wanted to stay in Germany this summer.”
“With that knowledge, Leeds have agreed terms on the deal which could reach close to £7million if certain criteria is met.”
While losing a player of Kristensen’s quality and experience is surely a blow to the Whites, every penny will be crucial in helping Daniel Farke assemble a team capable of surviving in the Premier League next season.
Winning the Championship title prize fund will go a long way towards that goal, but player sales could be imperative, too.

Jack Harrison could return to Leeds United after loan spell with Everton
So, Leeds will head into next season without Kristensen, but Bailey also suggested that Jack Harrison “could very well be back” at Elland Road this summer.
He’s been on loan at Everton for the past two seasons, but the Toffees “have not indicated any willingness to make the deal permanent” at this stage.
| Club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Leeds United | 206 | 34 | 32 |
| Everton | 62 | 4 | 3 |
With Harrison under contract at Leeds until 2028, the Whites may look to utilise the 28-year-old for next season, and his Premier League experience could be invaluable if Leeds do go up.
Harrison has previously been an influential player for Leeds in the past, making over 200 appearances for the Yorkshire outfit and contributing more than 30 goals and 30 assists. Things haven’t clicked at Everton, though, and a return to Leeds might just be the key to getting his career back on track.
