Leicester City are a bit of an unknown entity this season following relegation from the Premier League.
Marti Cifuentes has changed the style of play, and they have been linked with a move for Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
This comes after EFL Analysis exclusively revealed that Mads Hermansen is a target for West Ham United, and there is plenty of movement that could still happen in this transfer window – with deadline day on 1 September.
However, there is another Foxes ace who has been the subject of interest throughout this summer, and now it has emerged that he is on the radar of Leeds.
Leeds United target Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss
The future of Bilal El Khannouss is complicated, with Leicester keen to keep hold of the playmaker after a strong showing in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old posted a cryptic message after Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s sacking, and Sunderland have been keen. Now, according to The Athletic, Leeds are tracking his movements.

However, they have stated that he is ‘not an active target’ and therefore it seems likely that if a move is made, it is because the Whites have missed out on other players on their shortlist.
As per Rob Dorsett, Leicester also want £25m+ for the midfielder, and this could be a sticking point for clubs like Leeds who have plenty of work still to do in the transfer market.

Keeping hold of Bilal El Khannouss would be a cheat code for the Foxes
With the Foxes holding strong in their valuation of El Khannouss, and the first Championship fixtures of the season just two weeks away, Cifuentes may be able to keep hold of the talented youngster.
The Morocco international is a very impressive player and he could be a cheat code in the second tier after some strong performances in the Premier League.
It’s not a surprise to see El Khannouss targeted by top flight sides this summer, but if the Foxes are to have a go at winning promotion, then they will need their best players to stick around and the 21-year-old is part of that quota.
