Leicester City could lose Wilfred Ndidi for a cut-price fee this summer as the Foxes begin to prepare for life back in the Championship.
Whilst Ruud van Nistelrooy’s future remains uncertain, the Foxes are preparing for a massive summer of change.
Jamie Vardy will be one of those leaving Leicester after he confirmed his departure at the end of the season. Thankfully for them, Vardy doesn’t want to join another Championship side, ruling out an emotional return to Sheffield Wednesday.
He will be one of several to depart the King Power Stadium, with Ndidi expected to be one of those to follow suit.

Wilfred Ndidi’s Leicester contract contains tiny release clause
Ndidi is one of Leicester’s longest-serving players having been at the club since 2017, but a second relegation in three years will probably bring an end to his stay.
According to BBC Sport, the Nigeria international’s contract contains a release clause worth £9m.
He signed a new deal at the start of the season, snubbing interest from Marseille and Everton to remain in the East Midlands but now seems like he won’t be sticking around for a second crack at the Championship.
In his time with the Foxes he has won the Premier League, Championship and FA Cup, as well as reached the quarter finals of the Champions League and semi-finals of the Conference League.

Who else could leave Leicester City this summer?
As well as Vardy and Ndidi, a number of other well-known faces will depart.
Boubakary Soumare is believed to be attracting interest on the continent, as is Wout Faes.
Mads Hermansen and Bilal El Khannouss are both valuable assets who could be moved on for handsome fees to help with the club’s finances and provide the Foxes with more spending money.
Fringe players on big money, i.e. Conor Coady and Harry Winks may also be sold to help balance the books as the Foxes look to have a new look and identity for the 25/26 campaign.
