Leyton Orient had a terrific season last year, and it was almost capped off with an unlikely promotion to the Championship, which would have been a return to that level for the first time since 1963.
However, it was not to be, as they lost the final to Charlton Athletic, who had long been considered League One underperformers due to their recent Premier League history, a destination they can dream of returning to after a long stint away.
Leyton Orient were clever in the transfer market last season, utilising the loan market while also making shrewd signings.
Nothing has changed this season, particularly with their latest signing, the return of a fan favourite, Josh Koroma.
Leyton Orient fans have now taken to social media to give their thoughts on the return of Koroma to E10.

Leyton Orient fans react to the signing of Josh Koroma
Josh Koroma spent the last six seasons contracted to Huddersfield Town, joining them upon their relegation to the Championship after two years in the Premier League.
Koroma had a mixed career at the Yorkshire club, heading off on loan on two occasions, in 2020 to Rotherham and for a season in 2022 to Portsmouth.
Now he has returned to Leyton Orient after six years away from the club, and fans have let their feelings be known about his return on social media.
One fan said: “Love this. A big part of our history and now destined to be a key part of our future. Expect to see the best of him under Richie Wellens.”
While another fan seemed to capture the entire mood of those online as they said: “Yes! Yes! Yes! Welcome back, Josh.”
A number of fans seem impressed by the deal itself and the longevity of the contract; one said: “Long term deals too, better so we haven’t got to rebuild ever year/18months.”
While another saw it as a steal, they said: “An absolutely outrageous window; he had his media photos done with Barnsley and Orient walk in like.”

Josh Koroma’s first spell at Leyton Orient
The striker spent four seasons at Leyton Orient in his first spell with the club, earning him a move to the Championship, at the time, with Huddersfield.
Koroma enjoyed his spell at the club, as he scored 20 goals across the National League and League Two.

He suffered relegation with the club in his second season in professional football but remained at Leyton Orient for two seasons before Huddersfield, a recently relegated Premier League side, became an opportunity he could not say no to.
Koroma had his best goalscoring campaign last season, as he scored 12 goals, with the 26-year-old likely to be expected to replace the goals loanee Jamie Donley scored at the club last year.
